Willowbrae Academy South Richmond is hiring. We are a large, licenced daycare with 10 classrooms serving children ages 10 months - Kindergarten age. We hire quality early childhood educators with their Early Childhood Educator, or Infant/ Toddler certificates for BC. It's a friendly and supportive place to work.
Minimum Certificate Requirements
Applicants must have a valid ECE, or ECE/IT certificate for B.C.
Applicants must have a valid first aid certificate including CPR.
Applicants must already have a clear criminal record or be willing to get one through our centre.
Applicants must be legal to work in Canada.

Required Physical Capabilities/ Skills
Working in a daycare is a physically demanding job and candidates must be able to meet the following requirements:
- standing for long periods, sitting on floor or in small chairs, bending over to help children toilet or dress, safely supervising the children on out trips and during outdoor play as well as leading some daily physical education components of the program
- able to communicate proficiently in English
- capable of using the internal software system on a tablet to create daily reports for parents
- are punctual
- agree to follow centre policies as well as licensing requirements
- staff members may on occasion be asked to assist the cook, or to clean up spills but the centre will have professional cleaning staff and a cook
