Job Description

Employment Type:

Working Hours:

8 hours per day (Monday-Friday)

Position Start:

July 1st, 2025

  • Lead and manage a team of early childhood educators and support staff to deliver high-quality childcare and learning experiences.

  • Oversee day-to-day center operations, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for children and families.

  • Develop and implement staff training programs that support professional development and align with best practices in early childhood education.

  • Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.

  • Foster strong relationships with parents and guardians, maintaining open and respectful communication.

  • Manage enrollment, waitlists, and scheduling to optimize center capacity and efficiency.

  • Monitor and manage budgets, supplies, and center resources to support smooth operations.

  • Support recruitment efforts, conduct interviews, and assist in onboarding and retaining qualified staff.

  • Create a positive, team-oriented culture that supports employee satisfaction and growth.

Qualifications:

Basic ECE

Additional Qualifications:

  • Infant and toddler certification (Required). 
  • Proven leadership and team management experience in a licensed childcare setting.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with staff, families, and regulatory bodies.

  • Knowledge of provincial childcare regulations, health and safety protocols, and developmental best practices.

  • Experience with center budgeting, enrollment management, and administrative processes.

  • Ability to mentor and inspire staff while upholding a positive and professional workplace culture.

Salary & Benefits:

22.00$ - 24.00$ per hour. Additional benifits can be discussed during the hiring process.
