Leishman Early Learning and Care centre is looking for enthusiastic and team orientated indivduals to join our care team. We are operated by the Campbell River Child Care Society and have been providing child care in the community for over 50 years.Leishman is part of the Operating Funding Model under the $10 a day program. We are licensed for 25 children and are divided into 2 rooms in our facility. We are fortunate to offer two separte outdoor play spaces with natural elements to provide children with the opporunity to explore and connect with their natural world. Our society strives to maintain a 1:6 ratio to promote quality child care as well as staff well-being. We are a play based facility that provides learning opportunties based on the children's interests and developmental needs.
We are looking for Licensed Early Childhood Educators to fill: full, part-time, and casual on call positions. The ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of child development, be able to communicate effectively with children and adults, and provide children with thoughful and engaging curriculum.

We are part of the Operating Funding Module under the $10 a day program and are not eligible for the government wage enhancement. Our Society has an Extended Health Plan and covers 50% of the cost.
