Relationship to Land
Mar 5, 2025, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
Series: Learning with the Environment
This workshop explores the question: How might we work with children to honour the land, the air and the water?

Details:
Connecting to the life found in green spaces helps all of us feel part of the larger world. Acknowledging the place, you live and the people who have cared for it from time immemorial begins our own thinking about our relationship to land and how we can continue to care for it. We want to have a relationship of care with the place in which we live. We can help children learn to feel connected to the birds flying overhead, the wind that whispers to us and the water that we must all learn to honour. Can we include the living breathing world in our outdoor space and our thinking? How might we work with children to honour the land, the air and the water?
