La Fédération des parents francophones de C.-B. is seeking an Early Childhood Educator for its Tartine et Chocolat daycare in Vancouver.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a group of children aged 30 months to 12 years. Their primary role will be to organize, prepare, and lead a variety of French-language activities that support the overall development of preschool-aged children, while ensuring their well-being and safety. We are looking for someone who is energetic, reliable, flexible, creative, autonomous, and able to work as part of a team.
This is a permanent full-time or part-time position.
Additional hours may be required depending on operational needs (e.g., staff meetings or training sessions).

Qualifications:
Basic ECE
Additional Qualifications:

A valid Early Childhood Education (ECE) certificate or diploma in British Columbia, or currently in the process of obtaining one;

Legally entitled to work in Canada with children;

A valid First Aid certificate or willingness to complete a course (paid by the employer);

Criminal record check, paid by the employer;

Experience working with children is an asset;

Sufficient French language skills to perform the duties of the position.

Salary & Benefits:

Wage: $31 to $33 per hour (depending on experience), including the $6/hour BC Early Childhood Educator Wage Enhancement, which is included in the wage listed;
