We are looking for educators to join our team. Kamloops Child Development Centre is an innovative, non-profit childcare centre that strives to provide the very best experience in childcare. We are a nature-based centre and support a learn through play philosophy with a large emphasis on outdoor and natural play.
We are looking for a qualified ECE to join our large, well-established childcare team.
Daily Tasks Include:
- Providing care and active supervision of children to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals and the class community, including maintaining supervision ratios.
- Assisting with daily care routines of students, including toileting, dressing and diapering as needed.
- Performing routine cleaning and care for the daily maintenance of a clean, orderly classroom environment.
- Facilitating children’s play and wonder outdoors in all 4 seasons
- Providing direction and behavioural guidance to children in accordance with the Behaviour Guidance Policy

Qualifications:
Basic ECE
Additional Qualifications:
To succeed in this position, you need:
- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education,
- Valid BC Early Childhood Educator License to Practice
- Valid First Aid & CPR certification
- Clear BC Criminal Record Check
- Knowledge of the BC Early Learning Framework
- Love of the outdoors
- Demonstrate interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a team environment.
- A Class 4 driver's license would be an asset
