We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our 3–5-year-old classroom. The ideal candidate will bring both heart and expertise—someone who is confident leading a group, grounded in child development, and inspired by Montessori and other responsive teaching methods.
What You’ll Do

Lead and guide a classroom of up to 25 preschoolers

Plan and implement creative, hands-on learning experiences

Foster independence, cooperation, and curiosity in each child

Communicate thoughtfully with families and colleagues

Contribute to a warm, professional, and collaborative team environment
What We’re Looking For
-
Valid BC Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Certificate
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in early childhood education (preferred)

Montessori training or classroom experience (an asset)

Excellent English communication skills, spoken and written

Childcare First Aid certification
-
Clear criminal record check
-
Doctor’s note of good health

Physically able to meet the demands of a busy classroom (walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, etc.)
