Temporary Part-time: Supported Child Care Educator (OSC)
We are a successful not-for-profit provider located in Woodland Drive, Vancouver, and have been serving the Grandview-Woodland community since 1973. Our child care facility consists of one 3-5 program and two school age programs, soon to be three!
Our dedicated out of school care space provides care for children ages 5 to 12 for before and after school, professional development days and during the Winter, Spring and Summer breaks. This position requires a high energy, enthusiastic person with a positive attitude and a passion for supporting and advocating for children and families.

Qualifications:
Other: ECE Special Needs Certificate
Additional Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
- ECE Special Needs Certificate or equivalent training, education and experience
- Experienced in working with Vancouver Supported Child Development consultants, implementation of goal and care plans, working with children who require extra support
- Current First Aid Certification
- Clear criminal record check
- Class 4 license or the ability to acquire during probationary period is an asset
- Ability to communicate well in English, verbally and in writing
- We are seeking individuals that have a passion for working with children and families; that have Early Learning and Care experience, skills and abilities; and enjoy working in a team environment
Salary & Benefits:
WHAT WE OFFER
Salary – $26.46/hour + ECE Wage Enhancement for ECE certification
Benefits – 9.2% in lieu of vacation, stat holidays + ESA 5 days paid sick leave

Additional Information:
HOURS OF WORK
Monday to Friday – 7:30 to 9:00 am & 2:00 to 6:00 pm (split shift is required)
Holidays & School Breaks – Must be available full-time hours, between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm
July & August – 7-hour shifts between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm
