The Fairfield Gonzales Community Association (FGCA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering belonging and connection in Fairfield-Gonzales through the services we provide. Located beside Sir James Douglas Elementary School, we proudly offer a $10aDay continuity-of-care model that supports families from early learning through school-age care. We gratefully work and play on the unceded, traditional territories of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples, known today as the Esquimalt and Songhees Nations. As part of our childcare team, you’ll help nurture both the children and the land that sustain our community.
Overall Position Objectives
The Child Care Float is not assigned to one specific program. The primary objective of the position is to provide staff support during high-pressure periods, including (but not limited to) field trips, school pickups, special events, staff breaks, early dismissals, and times of low staffing.
